Same As Sister (S.A.S.) will premiere The Exciting Event..., a commission for Danspace Project's Dancing Platform Praying Grounds: Blackness, Churches, and Downtown Dance (Platform 2018), curated by Judy Hussie-Taylor and Reggie Wilson, during A Shared Evening with Keely Garfield Dance and Ni'Ja Whitson.

The Exciting Event…, is a collaboration with performers, Kristina Hay and Rahmus Rifical, sound designer, Lamy Istrefi Jr., and dramaturge, Susan Mar Landau.
